What is microdermabrasion?
This is a highly effective non-invasive skin treatment used to tackle many skin problems such as acne scarring, pox marks, scars from accidents or disease, fine lines smoothing and many other.
The SkinBaseâ„¢ microdermabrasion machine uses a jet of ultra-fine aluminium oxide crystals to exfoliate the skin. The crystal works as an intense yet gentle abrasive to remove dead skin cells. Vacuum action hygienically removes these dead cells while stimulating blood flow to the area. This combination action stimulates the production of collagen and elastin resulting in firmer, more youthful-looking skin. You will see results from the very first treatment.

The SkinBase™ Facial is progressive rather than aggressive, so skin layers are gently removed over a course of treatments. With treatments ideally being carried out every 7 – 10 days, each treatment can be increased in intensity. This will make sure the microdermabrasion exfoliation reaches deeper layers of the skin and allows for acne scarring to be removed, pigmentation lifted and fine lines smoothed. Whoever you are, The SkinBase™ Facial will help you to attain smoother, youthful-looking skin.*
*Please note that we regret that microdermabrasion cannot help clients with the vitiligo disorder.
